At Focus Foundation, we believe that meaningful change starts with action. Grassroots charities are often the first to respond in times of crisis, providing critical services that larger organisations cannot always reach. Yet, despite their irreplaceable role in communities, many of these charities face severe underfunding and increased pressure. Since 2021 we have supported more than 100 projects across the UK, providing much needed funding to the grassroots charities.

Focus Foundation are more than simply a grant-making trust - they show genuine interest in our charity and are keen to ascertain how best they can support our growth and development. Their input to date has been outstanding and they have been with us every step of the way.

We found the assessment process fascinating and personal – a conversation not only about whether we are good enough to come up with the goods, but also why our methods are appropriate and how, potentially, things could be done differently.

Dealing with Focus Foundation has been really a breath of fresh air, it’s very unusual to have real contact with our funders…it’s been a very human experience which feels appropriate but is very rare.

We are delighted and extremely grateful that Focus Foundation have recognised our work and made this amazing contribution. We know that CWP students will be blown away when they start using the new facility in September.
