On Friday 17th September, Focus Group held a golf day in aid of the Focus Foundation.
East Sussex National Golf Club played host as 17 teams took to the course on what turned out to be a glorious day. It's wasn't quite PGA tour standard and many of the golfers made their most of their mulligans. Hole in one hopes never materialised despite their best efforts, but it did do wonders for the fundraising!
After a well earned drinks reception we retired to the Lynx Suite for prize giving. Accompanied by some gentle jazz, we were treated to a delicious 3 course dinner followed by the evening's main act as on walked 'Live at the Apollo' and 'Mock the Week' star, comedian, Andy Parsons.
Well oiled and ready to raise some money, our guests wasted no time in raising their hands in the auction....and by the end of the evening, we had raised an incredible £52,000 for the foundation!
