We chose 5 charity partners for our Winter Ball held in Feb 2023. All 5 charity partners received a portion of the proceeds for the evening.
WOLO Foundation has been issued funds for a wellness course which will benefit a group of people who have been diagnosed with cancer. This course will enable members to live each day with better mental health, hope, and fulfilment.
Table Talk Foundation has been issued funds for their amazing school’s programme. They will be bringing professional chefs into local primary schools to deliver high-quality food education programmes. These programmes serve to educate young people about the benefits of healthy eating habits and encourages an enthusiasm for food.
Starr Trust’s funding will be used to give young people on low income with mental health issues or special educational needs a 3-month free health and wellness programme at the FMG Gym in Brighton. These young people will be educated on the benefits of physical fitness and good nutrition, resulting in improved mental health and wellbeing.
Off The Fence Trust Ltd will utilise their funding to renovate and redesign their Antifreeze Centre which will then provide homeless people with a place to visit to engage with staff at the centre and with the help of the Job club get them back into work.
Rockinghorse Children's Charity will use their funds to refurbish the parent room at the Alexandra Children’s hospital. This room provides parents with children and babies who are seriously ill with a calm area for them to gather their thoughts and recharge. A room to grieve and to spend their last hours with their baby, or as a transition space when children are getting ready to leave the hospital and return to their homes following serious illnesses.
These are highly impactful projects and will have a positive impact on approximately 3120 members of our community. Many thanks to everyone who supported our event.
