Founded in 1983 under the guidance of Don Hawkins and his team, the Centre has grown into a vibrant community fuelled by user engagement. It is backed by a dedicated team of skilled professionals and overseen by a committed Board of Trustees.
The charity reached out to us for funding* to facilitate the addition of a new counsellor, offering 60 sessions to support diagnosed patients on their journey and enhance their existing array of services. Coping with conditions like Multiple Sclerosis can be exceptionally challenging, and the therapy has already proven instrumental in helping individuals navigate through difficult times.
The Centre is steadfast in its commitment to providing ongoing mental health support within the MS community. In 2024, it will launch two new support groups—one for individuals living with MS and another for caregivers facing the challenges of providing round-the-clock care.
