Take on Dartmoor like never before!
We’re proud to partner with Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton Team to bring you a unique, one-day team challenge designed to test your resilience, teamwork, and determination over 13.5 miles of rugged moorland terrain.
Along the route, five demanding challenges, designed around real-life search and rescue scenarios, will test your physical endurance and strategic thinking. From climbing three rugged Dartmoor Tors, to responding to emergency situations, this is a chance to step into the boots of those who save lives on the moors.

Funds raised will be split equally between Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton Team who receive no government funding, and Focus Foundation, supporting grassroots charities across the South West.
Challenge overview
The challenge begins at 8am on Saturday 11 October at River Dart Country Park and concludes at approximately 6pm at Newbridge, River Dart. A good level of hill-walking fitness is required for this event, and participants are encouraged to train in advance. Teams will navigate the route using an OS map and compass.
Transport to and from the start point is self-arranged, though transfers from the finish back to the park will be provided. Accommodation options will be shared ahead of the event, with teams responsible for booking. There is the opportunity to stay the night before, so you are prepped and ready for the early start. You can also opt to stay the evening after the challenge and join in some camping fun. All participants must arrive prepared with suitable clothing, personal refreshments and a basic first aid kit. Full event instructions will be shared with all registered teams ahead of the day, along with a detailed Q&A to help you prepare and plan confidently.
With an entry fee of £25pp and a minimum fundraising target of £250 per person (raise over £300 and we’ll refund your entry fee as a thank you) you’ll take part in groups of 6 with an opportunity to challenge yourself while making a lasting impact.
