Climbing for a Cause: The Mount Kenya Challenge 2026
In February 2026, a team of dedicated adventurers, including four members of the Focus Foundation team, will embark on an extraordinary expedition to climb Mount Kenya, proudly supported by Zone 4 and Shackleton.
This demanding trek will take the team through alpine forests, sweeping meadows, icy glaciers, crystal‑clear lakes and otherworldly lunar landscapes, all leading towards the summit of Point Lenana at an impressive 4,985 metres.
We are thrilled to share that all places for this challenge have now been filled. Our team is already deep into preparation, gearing up for what promises to be a once‑in‑a‑lifetime test of endurance, resilience and teamwork.
All funds raised from this mission will be ringfenced for mental health charities. This climb is not only a physical undertaking but a profoundly mental one and we want our efforts to stand in solidarity with those facing their own uphill battles every day. By taking on this challenge, we aim to demonstrate our commitment, raise awareness and support individuals struggling with their mental wellbeing.
Follow our journey on social media as we train, push our limits and stay focused on reaching the summit.
